Sunset Video over Starry Hill June 2, 2016 ⬅︎

Teenaged Star Guide John Williams is doing cool stuff with his Canon T5 camera, tripod and new intervalometer. He created this video one evening by taking hundreds of carefully timed exposures for about two hours and then combining them via software.

There are several things to notice as you watch this video....

1) The clouds moving from west to east due to the prevailing winds and then from the north.
2) The stars, once they become visible, moving from east to west due to earth's rotation.
3) The numerous airplanes going mostly from north to south.
4) The reflection of light on the dome showing the sun set at first and then the glow of Eatonville later.
5) The clouds coming in in the end and ending the show.

Very cool John!
