Goodbye and Hello!  (2018-6-01) ⬅︎
The 2017/8 school year has come and is nearly gone. It has been Starry Hill's best school season to date in the decade that we've been in operation. Over a thousand visitors this year -- mostly children -- came for planetarium shows, observatory tours, telescope training and more. So much fun!

Thank you to all people who helped make this happen -- teachers, parents, chaperones, scout leaders and more.

Now it's time to get ready for the 2018 Summer Season with dozens of star parties scheduled here at Starry Hill as well as at Mt Rainier. Although the parties at Starry Hill are all fully booked, you are welcome to join in at Mt Rainier. Most nights, starting in July, someone from the NPS Night Skies program (not just us) will be leading shows at Paradise after sunset and everyone is welcome. Learning about and viewing the treasures of the night sky from the dark skies of a national park is very special.... hope to see you either here or there!

And let's all hope for lots of clear, smoke-free skies this summer!
